典型的cult+邪典片。故事围绕一个充满矛盾冲突家庭展开，兄弟俩多少都比较神秘和诡异，表面冷漠的哥哥其实对弟弟有种变态的保护和控制欲。孩子为主角却如此重口味的片子实不多见。虽然情节中充满血腥暴力，主题似乎很正统，强调血腥恐怖片对青少年的危害，把他们引向暴力和犯罪的深渊。
